Situated in the Santa Cruz Highlands and bordering the National Park, Galápagos Safari Camp is a 55-hectare family run property boasting magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding islands.
The central lodge has an open floor plan offering panoramic views, a cozy lounge and bar, and serves up fantastic meals. The nine individual tents offer comfort and space complete with en suite bathrooms, a balcony with a hammock and chairs, and even a heater for cool nights. The infinity pool is the ideal place to relax after a day of adventures. The cuisine is divine here and the talented chef can accommodate nearby any dietary request. Your guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Those with more time can opt to arrive early and take guided excursions in the city and surrounding areas.
Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Galápagos. Meet your guide at the Galápagos airport and transfer with your group to the highlands for your first activity and welcome lunch. Arrive at Galápagos Safari Camp and enjoy a welcome briefing with your host. Settle into your luxury accommodations and have a refreshing cocktail or local juice as you watch the sunset over the Pacific before dinner.
Explore the Galápagos Islands! The number of days depends on your selected trip duration. Experience the many wonders of the Galápagos Islands through a combination of boat excursions to nearby uninhabited islands and Santa Cruz island based explorations from Galápagos Safari Camp. The Santa Cruz tours are flexible with a private guide. You may opt to hike Cerro Mesa in search of giant tortoises, visit the town of Puerto Ayora, how to the Charles Darwin Research Center, and walk along the gorgeous Tortuga Bay. Wildlife is abundant everywhere and your guide will teach you about the natural history and the flora and fauna. At the end of each exciting day, relax in the serenity of this beautiful property. Retreat to your eco-luxury tent, enjoy a cocktail in the main lodge, watch the sunset, and keep an eye out for birds and tortoises lumbering around. Galápagos Safari Camp chefs prepare delicious meals using many local ingredients.
Possible adventure activities include kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, biking, diving. Explore neighboring uninhabited islands on boat day trips to North Seymour, Bartolomé, Plazas, or Santa Fé, where you’ll hike and snorkel. Each island has its own unique natural habitat and your guide will take you through the evolutionary marvels of your destination. The number of boat day trips varies depending on the itinerary you choose.
After your final breakfast in the Enchanted Isles, transfer to the airport for the trip back to Quito and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy an evening at leisure.
Your guide transfers you to the airport for your international flight home. Travelers with more time will begin extension tours.
